I am passionate about empowering you to take ownership of your life - to intentionally “write” your story of healing, wholeness and living out the fullest expression of your design.

I am a cheerleader and coach, I will hear you, encourage you, call you to a higher level and challenge you to be a better version of you.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certification, along with numerous other courses and certificates I have acquired over the years.

I am a singer, visual artist, and life long learner who approaches life with an attitude of growth, gratitude and generosity.

Hi, I’m Anita. I believe Life is Art and how we move through the world is a direct reflection of our health and wellbeing.

Master your Emotions

I always say “Your power is in your reaction.” We live in a world where emotions run high and intense, break down in communication and division for what seems like any reason -runs rampant; when we understand our feelings and needs, we are able to react to situations with a calm, controlled demeanor. That means that what or who would normally make us react with intense emotion, now cannot elicit an outburst from us. We can honor our feelings and needs, and also listen with empathy and understanding to the feelings and needs of others.

Are you dealing with inexplicable pain?
Perhaps it’s time to dig a little deeper.

Emotional Pain=Physical Pain

After many years of suppressing my emotions I developed severe back pain, three vertebrae in my spine were rotated, my back and hips were mal aligned. It was not until I worked through my emotional pain, that my physical back pain went away and my vertebrae went back into place. It is common that when we ignore our emotions, they show up in our body as illness or pain. Using simple body movements and subtle energy modalities I can help you work with your body to give it the resources to heal and release.

Food can harm or heal

I used to think I had an impeccable diet, yet I had terrible migraines and debilitating pain in my joints. It got so bad at one point that I could not open bottles, or brush my teeth without extreme pain. My husband thought I might need surgery. But I wanted to explore non-invasive options first. I looked to food as medicine, I eliminated almost all foods and started over. I learned to listen to my body, identify the foods that were causing inflammation and pain, remove them, heal my gut and now I live pain free.

My approach is holistic, and integrative. You are a bio-individual, a whole person and I will address you as such. There is no one-size fits all way to wellness, we are complex beings, we cannot separate the mind or emotions from the physical body, these are interconnected, so one area affects all the others.

My work is intended as a support to you, and a complement to any medical or mental health treatment you are receiving. My programs do not replace medical care or advice.

Breath work, guided imagery, meditation, trauma informed yoga, free flow and somatic body movements, are used to help you regain your breath and get you back in touch with your body.

In addition to those, we may explore Expressive Arts and Vocal Embodiment to help you process and take control of your emotions.

I also use modalities such as Applied Energy Kinesiology, Touch for Health and Acupressure to help with emotional and mental stress release as well as some pain relief and general feeling of relaxation.

Lifestyle and nutrition education is used to give you tools to help you take control of your health and well being as it relates to your individual journey. The goal of my work is to help you prevent bigger issues down the road and live a more balanced life.
